This is a painting of the Great Vly north of Saugerties. The little tongue of water in the foreground is accessible from a old woods road and is where most people launch their boats. The afternoon sun was shaded from the foreground and only lit up the distant shores. The painting is on Wallis museum grade white paper and is 9X12 inches.
